My Story: Why I Started Senior In-Home Care Navigator
I started Senior In-Home Care Navigator because I witnessed—time and time again—the overwhelming struggle families face when trying to care for a sick loved one. Navigating the in-home care world is not easy. There are so many questions, so many options, and yet so little guidance. I saw people doing everything they could out of love, but still feeling lost, confused, and emotionally drained.
This mission is deeply personal to me.
Even with 25 years of experience in healthcare—working across home care, serving as a CEO, and supporting long-term care—I found myself on the other side in 2019 when I was diagnosed with lupus. Suddenly, I was the patient. And despite all my professional knowledge, I was overwhelmed. Finding the right doctors, understanding my options, accessing the resources I needed just to begin healing—it was physically, mentally, and spiritually exhausting.
That’s when it hit me: this isn’t just a gap in the system. It’s a calling.
Over those 25 years, I’ve built a strong network of trusted professionals—people I’ve worked with, vetted, and truly believe in. I knew I could use that network to connect families with the care and support they need, without the guesswork or added stress.
Senior In-Home Care Navigator was born from that vision: to offer free, compassionate, and knowledgeable guidance to families navigating care. I’m here to listen, to guide, and to make sure no one has to face this process alone.
